Interesting finds. I lived for a time right outside of Tampa and never knew these existed. We used to go to Lithia Springs and find ancient sharks teeth.
there are a lot of sharks teeth all over floridas gulf coast. i used to find them on macdill afb when i was there, at the old dump, and also at lithia as well. venice has nice gulf beaches where you can get sharks teeth. i knew a guy dragged a chain link fence based net of his own devise behind a boat and got thousands at a time.
